Robert Ivy Explains Some Of The Many Benefits Of Joining The AIA

Robert Ivy is the chief executive officer and executive vice president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In the past, he served the Architectural Record as its editor in chief. During his time with the architectural journal, he was able to help it grow tremendously. Ivy also served as the editorial director and vice president of McGraw-Hill Construction Media in the past. In 2009, he was honored with the Crain Award, which was given to him by American Business Media. He is the only architect in the 21st century, as of yet, to be named a Master Architect by the national architecture fraternity, better known as Alpha Rho Chi.
